Emergency Blip

Extra busy day!
Wrapping the last of the gifts.
Taking a gift to drop off at Thierry’s (who does the French Conversation Session) and a good friend of us both. A lovely socially distanced catch up with him (all in French!) before he goes back to visit his mum and siblings in Grenoble for Christmas on 23rd.
Then a quick foray into a local craft centre to get a present for another friend whose birthday is on Sunday, and one for someone else.( to wrap and deliver by Wednesday.)
Another long letter written and sent with a card.
Three presents for us arrived by post during the day. In a huge box was a huge velvet bag with a blue bow! Intriguing. We’ve poked, prodded and felt it surmising it could be a canvas print of something or other, on the other hand.......we’re just going to have to wait till Christmas Day!
After lunch I had a long conversation with an old friend up in Lancashire, whose son is very ill in hospital in Manchester with Covid. But she said today he’s showing signs of improvement, thankfully.
The very last cards posted!
It is now teatime.
So as I have taken no other photo today it’s an Emergency Blip.
I am behind with commenting at the moment, but still find a bit of time to look at all the photos.
