Christmas Cookies

It smells of freshly baked cookies in my home!  This is one of the many different kinds I used to bake when my children were growing up! Now I only bake this sort as it's tradition to do so and my daughter asked me if I was baking them as usual this year!  When they're totally cool, I'll pack a few into this sweet little tin for home here to enjoy with Jean, and the rest I'll give to my daughter and grandson!

This is half a batch cooling. Another one is still in the oven.
I might have sampled one or two ... Mmmm! They melt in your mouth!
Methinks a diet might be in order in the new year! Anyone joining me?!
