Bogs, horses and kind people

Dry today - and for several days to come, so the forecast says.

Daughter One and I went for a walk this morning up onto the higher ground at the back of Oban. Real horsey country - haven't seen so many horses for a long time! All the usual old caravans, sheds and other horse paraphernalia too, of course, plus a great deal of mud!

We walked up to see this little reservoir before turning back - Achnalarich Reservoir it is - and got stuck in a boggy field trying to find our way back to the path. A lady in a neighbouring house waved out of the window and when we got closer opened the door and said that she didn't often get the opportunity of waving to people there! She very kindly told us to climb over her fence and walk out through her garden which we did - there are some lovely people out there!
