Cambridge from the Air

We went to Cambridge, it was snowing when we went, it snowed while we were there and it snowed on the way home. It has been and still is very cold and the biting wind did not help.

We had lunch in the University Centre and coffee and cake in the Grad Pad on the third floor, which is where this photograph was taken looking down through the window. As members it seems silly to eat anywhere else especially since John Lewis's menu has gone downhill.

Before coming home we visited the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, they have refurbished the ground floor; I much preferred it as it was; fortunately the two upper floors have not yet been refurbished, but they are in the process of doing so. My favourite museum in Cambridge still remains the Sedgwick Museum.
