Light at the end of the tunnel?

I was up slightly earlier today to meet up with Diane for a walk along the Creek. She's been walking there by herself recently and has found a few nooks and crannies, so I got to see them as well! My main image is one of them. I thought it was a good image for the end of a tough year! My extra is from the top of a random flight of stairs we climbed. I love the contrast between the old and the new. :))

The rest of the day has been quiet and at home. It took a while to go through the 100+ pictures I took in the morning. G did some gardening with C. We've been trying to decide on what to do for New Year and now have a Plan A and a Plan B!
