Fairway Pond

Mrs S and I turn left out of the front door and in 100 yards we are on the golf course. Part of Epping Forest so we are free to walk there. Anyway, only two golfers are out this afternoon. Behind the 18th green is a pond, which has featured in several Blips. The trees need a hug, the ducks need admiring and the water reflections need assessing. There isn’t much wind today so there is a semi mirror effect on the water.

The gorse is flowering- is that early/late? And there are already buds on the oak trees.
