Winter or spring?

Today was a warm and sunny day, a spring day.
This Eranthis hyemalis, or winter aconite, decided it was spring. It is, at least in our regions, one of the first to blossom. It is a spring flower, so what do we call december 2021 then? Winter or spring?
The newspaper today mentioned that 2021 was again warmer than the average. Scaring. Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg, where are you? And what is more: who is listening and acting?
