Had a lovely day to round of what has been a pretty shitty year to be honest! 

After doing the horses we met up with Helen, John and Ned for a walk at Beacon. Not seen them in yonks so it was lovely to catch up. They came back to ours and helped us get through some more of the Christmas cheese. 

This afternoon we went to Derby runner as Mike promised me some running trainers for my 2022 get-fit- f-off cancer campaign. They were very helpful in there and really happy with the ones I got. 

We did the Neds on the way home then baked toffee cake and chocolate brownie to take up to Ant and Vicky's this evening.

Had a lovely night, drank a bit too much though after 12 months of nothing but the odd glass of wine it didn't take a lot! We had a great laugh, did some bad kitchen dancing and singing and finally rolled in to bed at 3am. 

I truly hope 2022 is a better happier more peaceful year for everyone. Lots of love x
