High tide.

Another sunny day and I made the most of it.  It was mild but quite windy so, after a late start, I spent a short time in the garden howking up ivy, packed up the Christmas stuff ready to go in the loft and then went off to Dysart.  I was hoping to photograph the new moon setting but it and the sun were going down close to each other and there were stray clouds so I never caught a glimpse.  A lot of people were out enjoying the sunshine but well spaced which was good. The tide was high with plenty of waves and spray to keep me happy.  The stairs up to Sailor's Walk were closed.  It's old and frequently needs repairs but gives views from high above the harbour.  A tunnel through the rock lets people access the shore and Ravenscraig Park with it's twisted wall along the shoreline.  The wall was built when Ravenscraig was owned by the Nairn linoleum family.  The owner built it to prevent people using the shore and trespassing.  Happily, when his son inherited he gifted the area to Kirkcaldy as a park.
Came home to clean the bathroom and have a little sofa session planning the rest of the week.  It's supposed to be sunny so here's hoping.
