Monster mushrooms

And so begins year 11 of my 365 project! There was a time I'd make an effort to get a 'proper' photo on the first day of the year, but I seem to have relaxed my standards quite a bit, and am content with a phone photo today. This is the mushroom kit my sister bought us for Christmas, and which started growing only three days ago. Ready for harvesting very soon, I think!

Had a lovely lazy day, with a much needed lie-in until gone 9:30, after our very late night last night. Did very little all day, but felt no guilt about it. I did call my Mum this afternoon, and we played Scrabble again too, which was fun. Not a bad way to start what is likely to be a pretty busy year :)
