I wanted to show my pals a new path I had found. One of them claims he knows every alley and back way but this time I reckoned I had the better of him. So we cycled down to the Olympic Park and down a new ramp between some recently completed flats. Ron wasn’t impressed but had to admit it was new to him.
We continued on to Roman Road, Bow. The cafe I had recently tried out was full so we went in to this one opposite. It was excellent - with a Turkish theme including this lady making some kind of filled naan breads. She was churning them out on a hot domed stove and they looked delicious.
My two accomplices have toured Turkey on their bikes so a stilted conversation was had with an intermediary translating.
So that’s a new caff on the list. We give them all a brief name for easy reference. We decided that this one shall be referred to as Nan’s. We will return. It was very good.
