Muntjac Again
Still working frantically on the computers, so having difficulty finding a blip. Today's picture was taken from the dining room, of Venison eating in another border, having exhausted the edible plants in his usual eating places. Upon seeing him I hammered on the door and he ignored me, continuing to eat. When I went outside he made an enormous leap over the garden wall and into the lower garden some six or eight feet below it. I think that the problem is that their normal grazing area is flooded and they have little choice of where else to graze.
