Nature Diary... In The Bleak Midwinter

Sunrise over the sea… dark clouds, black sea.

Some starlings thwarted by only one feeder being available when they arrived today … and the strange appearance of...of...I have no idea what or who appears to be there with them, but ‘the camera never lies’ and seems to see things which I didn’t see (what/who is that?)…

And a cute little sparrow looking curiously at the tortoise who just smiles back patiently :-)

With icy rain falling and snow threatened we're now hibernating until the weather behaves itself.
