Aschendorfer Moor

Did some location scouting today, together with Peter.
Although the weather was cold and grey, we went over the border to Germany to scout some new photo locations.
By now we have seen most of the places in the area we live, so we decided to shift our attention from this year somewhat more to Germany, Ost-Friesland.
It's very near to where we live, but we don't know that area very well.

We left around 14.00 and arrived in a nature reserve near Aschendorf one hour later. We walked in total a route of 3 kilometers and made some test shots on the way. We saw a huge peatland. Very wet to walk in (almost Scottish). It did have some potential, but it's all very flat and chaotic at the same time. Difficult to photograph. Maybe when it's frosty and all is covered in snow, we'll go back here.
Anyway, it was a nice afternoon, time spent well.
