Like Narcissus

Decided to have a look at Cornwallis Beach this afternoon. Wrong tide for that, as it was too far in to be able to walk along the length of the beach . First I went to the Cornwallis Wharf, where it seemed that the young men were attempting to make the biggest splash. For today's extra, I have caught one in mid drop to the water. His splash was quite impressive.

Later, I was at Mill Bay at the eastern most end of Cornwallis. Half a dozen Tarapunga (red-billed gulls). A couple were juveniles and their beaks were black. As is this one.
