Brat #3

Not a good day in the bird-hide today.

First, along came Brat #1 & Brat #2 in the shape of two young girls who decided to go pond-dipping right in front of the hide. Everything left apart from two farmyard geese.

Then when peace had settled once more, the common birds returned and along with them appeared this brown rat (B-rat #3). So, in the absence of any suitable avian blip, and without the permission of the pond-dippers' mother, my blip tonight folks will have to be the brown rat (Rattus norvegicus) pretending to be a tree-rat.
