The Adamstown bowlo wall of fame

This mural is on a side wall of Adamstown Bowlo (Lawn Bowling club) and was completed in late 2018 by Newy artist, Woofy Bone, renowned for her art work of pooches and hounds.  She has featured recently in "Walkies".

From left to right on the mural, the first is "Joey" the Bowlo's favourite.  Joey is a cattledog kelpie cross.  Joey accompanies his human, Barry, to the Turnaround Triples each week and is famous for nipping the heels of any bowler who is slowing play by chatting in the middle of the rink.  He is known to enjoy a sly ale at the end of the day together with some of chef Chow Chow Hong's chicken feet.

The middle, a young border collie, Max is son to Sam Whiz White, the Bowlos most successful skip, now skip of team "Fluffies United II" - the under 90's winning team.  Max is coming along nicely and will soon be able to retrieve Jacks for Sam in next to no time.

Of course Hamish and Maggy had to get into the act, although Hamish was not that happy being on the bench.  They have no lawn bowling skills so we leave them here and move on.

To the right of them is Lenny, son and bro to Sonny, Danielle and Ruben.  Lenny, 99.98% keplie has been banned for two weeks for peeing on the back green.   I am sure he will be forgiven and will back before too long.   He can round up the stragglers and keep the play moving almost as well as Joey.

Well, is that fact or fiction my friends and thanks for hosting Apollofly.  Colour version in the extra.
