Fact/Fiction

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose in mono would smell as sweet".
From an early draft of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

It's been a dull, damp day.  We managed to get out for a walk after lunch when we went to Shottery.  I saw this single rose in the front garden of Anne Hathaway's Cottage, no doubt an inspiration for the young William when he went to visit his fiance at her parent's home.

Thanks to ApolloFly for hosting today's Mono Monday with the theme Fact or Fiction.
