Where there's Muck

In great timing, farmer Franz phoned yesterday to say he would be around in the morning to take away our horse muck heap. The ground is nice and dry so the tractors driving over our horse fields won't churn it up. The muck will go on Franz's arable fields. The winter ban on solid muck spreading starts in a week.

Last year he got me to load the muck spreader with my little tractor which went surprisingly well but is quite an effort without servo steering, a small 80 cm bucket & no hydraulics to shake the bucket. This year he came with both his own tractors.
