My plants are not all dead

Someone is eating my spearmint heucheras. The inside leaves are all gone. 

Someone is nibbling my fresh shoots (probably crocuses/croci). 

BUT the outside leaves of the spearmint heucheras are still fine. 

Most of the shoots are present. 

The leaves on the purple heucheras are growing back. 

It is ok that I have no black cohosh. They are hiding from the cold.

It is ok that I have no brunnera macrophylla, it is hiding too. 

It is ok that my maidenhair ferns look horrible. It is winter. 

And thank goodness for Kate because I've been worried about those last three for months now. 


Now, the rabbit. 


In addition to being visited by a rabbit, we are occasionally visited by a fox.
