Over the weekend I received a message - amazing because there was practically no signal anywhere - that someone wanted to buy the item I've had for sale for ages on a Fb group. He paid me more or less right away, without haggling, and so I wrapped it up and posted it this morning. Excellent!

Then to Tesco and now there's a chicken in the slow cooker ready to feed my son and his partner later.

I've taken out travel insurance, the BMC is cheapest, and now I'm going to tackle a bit of my Club secretarial duties. D'you know, there's always one who can't follow instructions. I asked all members to reply to my email by hitting 'Reply, so that all the replies were in one email string... but one member (so far) took no notice.
