Unexpected Sunshine

... brought the best from the early crocuses.    Here the first Crocus sieberi variant, the infinitely variable purple markings making it one of my favourites.   Use of flash shows the details off well and delivers the dark background too.    It won't be long before the sun is strong enough to give a similar result.

This morning I finally got the bulk of the AGS seed exchange seed planted.   A few choice bulbous things plus some plants that will hopefully add  colour and interest in the  garden in time.   Now we wait.

An afternoon massage appointment for Jamie, I walked the dogs in the lanes around Llanegryn church while I waited.   Another lovely afternoon blessed with wonderful light as the sun went down.    Home to make a pizza on a cheese scone base for tea .... plus half price sticky toffee pudding that I liberated while shopping for Mozzarella.   Yum!!

Heard on the radio today that the average home thermostat is set at 24C and dropping one degree will save average household £80 a year ..... 24C!!!   that means I'm saving £440 a year already!

Also heard a thought provoking program on how we communicate the risk posed by nuclear waste storage to people up to ten thousand years in the future.
