Geese on ice.

Ooch it was chilly on the bike this morning. Fingers cold and face frozen so it was difficult to talk. I know how these Egyptian geese felt. I think they were wondering why they hadn’t stayed on the Nile. No fun gingerly inching forward to avoid slipping over. The geese and me both.

My birdwatching pal has pointed out that they are mandarin ducks. So they would be more at home on the Yangtze where it is cold in winter. Probably.
