Amazing day in Snow Canyon

Monday
We enjoyed another glorious day further exploring Snow Canyon State Park. We started with the Lava flow trail, then did the White Rock trail to White rock amphitheate (large photo, top left), and finished with shorter trails to Johnson canyon (lower right) with its stone arch, and Jenny’s canyon, a short slot canyon (lower left), making a total for the day of about 8 miles. It’s a wonderful state park, often overlooked because of its proximity to Zion National Park, but the colours and the rock formations are so striking!
