Day Eight: Low tide at Marahau

Yesterday I accidentally left my favourite straw sun hat on the Aquataxi. Luckily skipper Ryan took it to the Aquataxi Centre. So around 8.am this morning I drove to Marahau to retrieve my hat. I stopped en route to photograph the beauty of the Marahau tidal flats at low tide. The distant larger island is Adele Island (Renamed Motuareronui in 2014). The smaller island is Fisherman’s Island (Motungarara). Both are included in the Abel Tasman National Park.
