Lake Ontario

I was back in the air today, heading to Houston once again. We passed over Lake Ontario, about 3 hours or so before landing.

Lake Ontario is the smallest of the 5 Great Lakes, only 311km (193 miles) in length and 85 km (53 miles) wide. The most easterly of the 5 Great Lakes, it serves as an outlet to the Atlantic Ocean via the St Lawrence river and is the only Great Lake not to border the state of Michigan.
