Life through the lens...

Tom’s

After mentioning about the plans for Tom’s house, I thought I would take a photograph of the nursery, where he had his greenhouses, and grew those delicious tomatoes.
As you can see it is now a dumping ground for building material which is being used by the adjoining house, on the other side of the field.
The person who lives there just happens to be involved with the company who want to build houses in the area.

The photo was taken on our morning walk to the pond and back.
I counted 20 mallards today. Still many more drakes than ducks.

We called at the optician/ optometrist this afternoon as Mr C wanted to ask Ian a few things about his treatment.
Not only did he have his questions answered, but Ian gave him a thorough eye test, and was pleased to tell him that his eyes had improved.
So he now feels much happier having his mind put at rest.
We are very lucky having such a caring optician.
