Work in Progress

All the dormant Achimenes rhizomes now extracted from the old compost.   Twenty varieties.    (I've ordered a few more - a different kind of madness!)   I have photos from last summer of each one and have now done the same for the rhizomes.   These will accompany the listings online so people know exactly what they are buying.   Next job on that front is to upload the listings then there are pots to wash and I will replant some of each here.

Another mostly grey day so it was a double treat to bump into C and her Meg as I set out with mine this afternoon  - just as the sun made a breakthrough on the western horizon.   We did a circuit down Gwalia and round through fields back to Tywyn by which time the sky was clearing just as it got dark.

After a cuppa at Jamie's home to cook a sweet and sour stir-fry for tea - appropriately one of the varieties of Achimenes with pink flowers flushed orange is called 'Sweet and Sour'.
