Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

White Birds

We came back to Seattle today and stopped on the way back at a bird refuge to see if I could get some closer photos of the geese and maybe the trumpeter swans that also migrate here from the yukon every year, in smaller groups.    They are all white and hard to tell apart but the swans are bigger and don’t have black on their wings but on their faces.   This is the best I could do with my equipment ..they were pretty far away, and I was hoping to find some swans among them.   Don’t think so but attached a photo from Wednesday  to compare Geese to Swans ( can’t tell what all the smaller birds are with these swans) A few of the skagit flats in the extra.  And the sunrise…..from the cottage
We loved our little getaway....
