Sunset on the Salish Sea

Not As good as last night , but here is the end of a lovely clear blue sky sunny day taken from in front of the cottage.  Sun setting behind Lopez Island with those Olympic mountains on the left. .  The extra is looking  the other way at the after glow and a nice group of islands in the horizon and you can see how the next door neighbor has piled sandbags on his bulkhead as the sea with high tide and wind has been lapping at the cottage doors .   Lots of sandbags along here.  
We had a leisurely morning, took a drive around the island to see what’s here ( one charming looking “resort” with little cabins, and one general store where we bought take out chowder for dinner ) 
.   Bits of walks here and there.   Saw eagles and a few scoters but couldn’t catch them.   Had a nap. Now a cozy fire in the fireplace …..
