A Windy Day...

...at the Beechwoods Nature Reserve.

We had a walk in the BNR although windy it was bright and quite warm compared to recent days. One of the lures to the place is that being on chalk the ground is very well drained and the paths don't get muddy. I tried to capture the movement of the wind with a 30 second exposure using a 10 stop ND filter.

This evening I set up my small telescope and camera and had another go at the Andromeda Galaxy. I made 60 exposures of 30 seconds and used 45 of them, aeroplanes and satellites spoiled the others. The narrower field of view using the telescope allows greater magnification. (extra)
