Big Garden Birdwatch (score = 0)

Got all set up to count birds in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch today, sat there for an hour gazing intently out of the window, and counted... a big fat zero!  Not a single bird landed in our communal gardens in that whole hour.  The gulls taunted me by flying overhead repeatedly, but the rule is you can only count birds that actually land.  I wasn't too fussed - it's always a really relaxing hour, and I knew I could try again tomorrow.

Tim did some more clearing of books in our dining room today, and I did a little later on, too - we ended up with three big bin bags-full, ready to take to the chairty shop.  (Not sure if they'll be pleased or cursing us!)
