Spotting birds

This morning I went out with the birdwatching group to the hills above Oswestry.  The highlight was a flock of crossbills in the conifers (too far away for a decent photo), also a large flock of starlings and one of pipits plus siskin and a jay. There was a couple of ewes fighting, pawing the ground and really going for each other.

After complaining to the insurance company they are going to try and get me a little money to compensate for the lack of car but can't promise (I don't expect anything).  The garage are trying to get out of responsibility by saying that the car would have been a hire car not a courtesy (which does not explain why it wasn't booked).  They did apologise when I spoke to them though.
