Landscape

Thought I would use another one of my paintings for today's blip, as it's still very cold and the wind makes it unpleasant to be outside.
This is a landscape by Clement McAleer. It is not so easy to photograph a painting of this size, (1.0m x 1.2m) and get the colours and the light so it ends up looking something like the original. I've watched a professional photographer working on art objects and he made it look easy. But then he was using a Hasselblad and very fancy studio lighting along with a computer monitor to check the close-up detail of each shot.
Makes you realise what a how very little you know about photography when you have the opportunity to watch a professional.
