Sundown at the Lake

Well, today we finally saw temps on the up-side of zero! Plus 3C was the high...Not exactly balmy, but definitely warmer - enough to start some melting...

I didn't get down to the harbour until almost sunset tonight as I had  unexpected company for the afternoon, so it was a very quick trip to snap some photos before it got too dark...I made it just in time to catch that little bit of colour on the horizon before it disappeared. (main)

The inside harbour was filled with ice again..nothing but ice floes and bits of broken ice rising on the swells, making a really neat tinkling sound - (too bad Blipfoto does not have audio! ) There were no birds, not a one, in the water today; they were all gathered on the edge of the parking lot as usual.

And, Quel surpris! ..a BONUS.... ( extra).....a little something someone left on a bench just for blippers like me..
