What good friends we have.

We had a wonderful surprise this afternoon, when the better half of one of our photo group members dropped buy with this wonderful neck cushion and bag (to keep it in) for Pauline.  She makes them herself.  Pauline is chuffed to bits and say’s it’s very comfy, just what she needed as she has to keep upright because of the fluid on her lungs.  Very many thanks to Judith (and John) for this wonderful pressy.

I did have a Derelict Sunday blip sorted, which is now at extra.  The collage shows what we saw on the CCTV when we were going to bed at ten to eleven last night (sparing you any shot of me having re-dressed and investigating what we could see).  I brought the flag in then, and inspected the damage this morning - the halyard had broken.  Well it was ten years old and only 4 mm, not 6.  Replacement on order.

Just for the record, it’s the halyard that is derelict, not the flag.  Sharp eyed viewers may have noticed the ‘T’ by the top hole.  This reduces the embarrassment of having to nip back out and turn the flag over.  I have a similar ‘T’ on the Yorkshire flag, and that’s even more difficult to spot when you are putting it up.

Many thanks to Marlieske for hosting Derelict Sunday.
