Muito feeling

A tuk tuk driver this morning said that the heat today in Maputo gave him ‘muito (much) feeling’. He started pummelling his arms into the air and I knew he was in for a fun Friday night on the tiles.

Visa dramas march on. This afternoon I travelled to Johannesburg as I have to acquire a type of visa via my new organisation to be able to use their office. If I don’t, we risk being thrown to the dogs in the event of any inspection.

I haven’t left Mozambique since August nor have I been to South Africa since pre-Covid times. As the blip community has heard many a visa whinge, I won’t go into laborious detail on this particular issue and will just note that I’m excited for the trip.
