Wound up in Wexford

Two paperweights made with our own fair hands, and a pear that was on sale at the workshop.  There were lots of other things I could happily have adopted, but we really don't need more stuff.

Our buyers visited again today.  They had come last Friday, to "measure up" for curtains etc, but almost immediately asked to come again - we were a bit worried they were having second thoughts.  Anyway, we made ourselves scarce in the garden whilst they had a look round, supervised by a rep from the Estate Agent.  The husband came to see us after a while, and said his wife had been having some doubts that they were taking on too much, but they were both feeling better now - phewww!

The advantage was that we got stuck into some stuff in the garden - we cannot just leave it all unattended - the bog areas, the salvias and the raspberries needed cutting back, and the garden waste bin is collected tomorrow, so we filled ours and our neighbour's.  Now we're cowering inside as the wind rages outside.  I'm just about to light a fire, and we'll settle in with gin.
