A view from Jeanneb

Ready for off.

Quite a interesting sky all the way up to meet the ladies ( and one man) for the not quite so early, early walk in the St Ives estate.

Our working friend was having a ‘well being day’ * off so there was no need to set out from home at 7.00am. (* Didn't have those in my day! - how old does that sound)
Walking up to the estate it felt quite odd to be in the light. The sky was developing pretty pink tinged clouds but it was hard to get a good angle.
This was our meeting spot at 7.45, half an hour later than usual. The sun is looking good through the trees as we set off for our walk. ( Some of our ladies come by car as they living in neighbouring villages.) Good trees for Joe Tree Day!

Windy but dry though, not surprisingly, wet underfoot. As we had plenty of time we missed out crossing the field and took the lane instead. Fed the swans and ducks at Coppice Pond before returning to the village.

Definitely a better day than yesterday but there were some hail and snow, showers this afternoon. More of that to come tomorrow maybe with Storm Eunice!
