Cats and Bags

The Munni-cat had to go to the vet this morning, and the other two have clearly been fascinated by the carrier bag’s smells after we came home.

Storm Zeyneb a.k.a. Eunice is howling out there now, still increasing in force. An hour ago, I plucked a neighbour’s wheelie bin out of our front garden. When I took it back across the street, I also rescued another neighbour’s pretty flower pots, that had fallen over on their porch.

Just now, the fire brigade siren sounded, calling the local volunteers for duty - probably to clear roads of fallen trees.

The storm is supposed to last until the early morning tomorrow. I hope we get a chance to sleep at some point.
