A Day In The Life

Not a nice day to be out because of the cold and wind but we wanted to return to Hallowell for some shots of the unusual frozen formations we had seen along the river on Friday • It’s hard to describe but it’s kind of a cross between a frost heave and an ice jam. The marshy turf covered in ice likely heaved upward because of the fluctuating air temperatures and the continual ebb and flow of the ice covered tidal river • It creates a most unusual lunar landscape, almost like river art for those fortunate to notice • Another rollercoaster weather week lies ahead with warmer temps arriving tomorrow, then rain midweek, and cold and snow returning by Friday. Yee-haw, what can we do but hang on white-knuckled as we ebb and flow through winter • Stay Tuned for next weekend’s river art revival • Hope y’all are enjoying your Sunday as another weekend comes to a close • Stay well and find joy wherever you can!
