Under the rainbow

This morning, it was still blustery, but not raining, so we went on a short, local, walk. Suddenly, we spotted this rather splendid rainbow. So, it must have been raining somewhere...
We bumped into a couple of  friends, whom I had needed to contact, which was useful. 
Also, we found a clump of sweet violets, already flowering profusely.
