Waiting to start feasting

The joinery chap met the builder at the A-Frame this afternoon. To measure up the new front door joinery. A welcome activity, as we have hadlittle feedback from them. It does seem as though the production of the new door and windows will be some months away yet. And the builder keeps telling us how busy they are. At least it is one step forward, and hopefully none back.

I was pleased to see that the Canadian police have ended the occupation of the city by a mixed group identifying themselves as protesters. As many will know, New Zealand has followed suit. There is evidence of significant funding coming in to maintain this action. Signs which cost a lot of money to make. Hints of fascism in the statements made by some vocal members of the occupation. Misogynistic rants, and threats to hang the Prime Minister.

If anyone with a psychiatric diagnosis voiced such delusional ideas as are being shouted out with threats to named persons, our services would be being faced with demands that they be admitted and not allowed out until they stopped saying such things.

I anticipate that those in Parliament's forecourt and their supporters will claim that they are not deluded. On what basis would such a claim be made? They have a fixed false belief out of keeping with the society in which they live. That is the (abbreviated) definition of a delusion. This morning I read that someone (identifying himself as a doctor) has claimed that it has been shown that there are particles within the vaccine.

If this and other such adeas are not delusions, the only explanation for them ids that they are deliberate lies to achieve What? My fear is that the ultimate aim is to destroy true democracy and replace it with a fascist state. The drivers of this aim exist in New Zealand and have likely been funded to carry nout this action.

They have done their damnedest to provoke violence from the Police, and so far have failed; this morning, even attempting to drive a car into Police, and injuring some severely enough that they went to hospital.

There is feeling that the Police are being too accommodating. The reality is that should they respond with anything that could be construed as violent, there will be bloody rioting in the streets, and innocent though misguided persons will be harmed.

If they can't hang the prime minister, they will settle for martyrs. Either will radicalise further those caught in this hysterical response to what is a temporary (in the lifetimes of all of us) restrictiveness to avoid people dying.
