Who Did This Poo?

We had planned to travel down to Oxford yesterday but the weekend of three storms scuppered our plans, so we set out early this morning and got ahead of ourselves. Tony had tried speaking with both Cross Country Trains (somewhere across the world!) and Trainline and learned absolutely nothing of use. The first chap said we could travel but we might not be able to!!  To avoid further stress we took a taxi to our local station and showed the wonderful no nonsense woman behind the counter our yesterday tickets and she said, ‘Yes you can travel on them, go and get on the train’. When I told her that she had given us the clearest information yet, she replied, ‘I say it as it is!’  Similarly the train Manager at Leeds cut through our burbling about yesterday tickets and early train and told us to get on the train and we would be fine.  In fact the only issue we had in all three sections of the journey was getting through the barriers at Oxford to leave the station, as they didn’t recognise the yesterday tickets, but again solved by a helpful station guard on the spot in seconds.

The early arrival meant we had time to call in to M&S for quickie tea stuff, reach the house and have a cuppa before we set out to collect Euan from Nursery, who chattered non stop all the way home.

After dinner and prior to bath time we collaborated on one of Euan’s favourite jigsaw puzzles all about animals and their poo!
