Swanning around on the canal

We had our first walk along the canal in a long time and enjoyed some sunny moments watching the various waterfowl go about their business.
The figure of a person under the bridge was of an elderly man who cams out most days , armed with his brush so that he can sweep away the huge puddle of water before the children come tumbling out from the nearby school .He told us that he has been doing this particular task for many years .
What a lovely man!
A pleasant day , spent getting ready for our trip to Sweden. My bags are packed !
First though, we have a lengthy journey to Norwich where Bramble will have her holiday . Her bags are also packed .
