How nice to find a small gaggle of geese at The Boat Landing this morning, thanks to a large swath of open water. Like them we were absorbing bright sunshine, record high temperatures and warm westerly winds. It can’t be February, can it? • In less than 24 hours our temperatures are expected to plummet from 60F to 13F and with this return to cold a significant snowfall is expected on Friday. Yep, it’s still February! What a crazy winter it’s been, and it isn’t over yet • MrsP and I recently enjoyed a 3-Part Docu-Drama about Abraham Lincoln on the History Channel, Executive Produced by Doris Kearns Goodwin, and based on her book of Lincoln. It’s well done and contained a few tidbits we were not aware of. He was certainly the right person for this time in our history, but this cannot be said about all of our Presidents, most notably one, but they will remain nameless here, LoL • Peace & Love from Maine!
