The Festival of Snowdrops

A visit to East Lambrook  Manor Gardens today with Nicky, Carolyn, & Gerry. Snowdrops & Hellebores in abundance .. what a feast for the eyes, what a treat for gardeners. It was busy, plenty of visitors, we had coffee & cake when we arrived, so by the time we went out into the gardens the visitors had thinned out slightly, plenty of time for a leisurely mooch around the gardens. Swathes of snowdrops, clumps of fabulous Hellebores of all shapes & colours, plus some unusual plants catching the eye wherever you looked. Galanthus plicatus 'Diggory' really caught my eye, so unusual with the crimped, seersucker like textured petals. What a beauty!
