LET'S GO AND PLAY LEGO ON SILLY SATURDAY MORNING

Hello Lovely Blippers,

When we heard Mr. and Mrs. HCB say that they were going to go out for a walk, we decided that we would have a little explore around the house so that we could have a good time while they were out.  We knew that in the bedroom that their grandson, Harry, used to sleep in when he was a little boy, was full of treasures because we had seen some of them.

We had a good poke around and on the bottom shelf of a large bookcase found a huge box of Lego - and we decided that we could have a good time while the HCBs were out making things and then give them a nice surprise when they returned.  Someone shouted, “Let’s go and play Lego” so that’s what we did!

Of course, some of us were better than others, but that’s true in life, some people have the manual dexterity (big words for a Saturday morning!) to be able to make things so that they look good, whilst some just want to play and jump around.  You can see that Snowy has been very busy and built a very smart looking house but some of us just enjoyed being together and chatting with one another, which was fine.  We don’t always have to do what others think we should do - and we don't have to be perfect - we just need to be ourselves.  We really are missing Hoggy and hope he is safe and well, but are looking forward to seeing him in a few weeks time.

We’re not sure that Sid knew what he was doing but at least he joined in the fun.  CC, short for Crafty Colin, was quite happy to gather lots of yellow pieces together and make a pretty pattern, but Godfrey wasn’t too sure about LBB, short for Little Brown Bear, being up on his back, although he didn’t like to make a fuss as he’s new, but I don’t think he will put up with it for too long.

Meanwhile I was keeping a watchful eye on them and I’m sure that Admirer would be pleased to see us all and to know that we are keeping the tradition of Silly Saturday alive.

Have a good weekend folks - it’s a beautiful sunny day here, so we hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

With love from

JH Ted and the Silly Saturday Gang xxxx
