Changing Seasons

In the week that we have been gone, evidence of a change of seasons has taken place. The daffodil blossoms are drying up and dying away, to be supplanted by the desert marigolds blowing in the wind behind them.

We had gone to Michigan for a granddaughter's wedding, which will necessitate some backbliping, and we had a chance to see Springtime in the Midwest.

On our return to the airport we had to drive 80 miles in a driving rain between Lansing and Detroit. THAT was a great reminder of why we live in Arizona.

In the Midwest, April and May would reveal one or two nice days followed by three weeks of cold, damp, blustery weather. That would dash our hopes of comfortable outdoor activity.

Michigan had 85% humidity and we returned to 15% here in Arizona. Glad to be back home!
