Winter white

In the garden at the flat there are swathes of snowdrops. There are almost no bulbs in my new garden so last Saturday I went to the flat to lift some snowdrops 'in the green' to transplant them to Liberton. But they were still in full flower, in April, so I left them for another day.

Out back here I still have these snowdrops nodding away in the raw east wind. They should be well past but things are so behind this year. Beside them a few daffodil leaves are pushing through. Mid April, it feels more like mid February but it;s going to be 14 degrees on Sunday - whoopee!

A second team 'away day' today. It was very productive and the burgers at The Cambridge Bar were excellent. Then home to discover that two deliveries had failed. One is back at the Royal Mail DO, an almost inaccessible place. The second will be delivered tomorrow. If not it will go back toi the depot - in Livingston! Why do delivery companies make life so difficult. There must be another way.

Back to choir tonight with a focus on the male section. Only another 6 rehearsals.

And still the talk of M Thatcher continues. Overkill.
